The Claims Process

Incoming Call.

The claim is reported to The Construction Group .

Contact The Homeowner.

The insured is contacted within 30 minutes of receiving a new claim.

On-Site Inspection.

A site inspection is conducted with the insured, preferably within 24 hours of the receipt of a new claim.

Emergency Work.

If necessary, stabilization work is commenced to mitigate the damage and prevent further loss.

Estimate / Quote

An estimate is prepared for the insurance company adjuster based on the damages. The estimate also includes an anticipated timeframe for completion of repairs. During the course of the job, any deviations from this timeline are promptly reported to the insurance company adjuster.

Homeowner Authorization.

Once The Construction Group receives the go-ahead for repairs from the insurance company, a scope of work, work authorization form, and request for deductible is sent to the insured.

On-Site Meeting.

A Construction Group representative meets with the crew and the insured onsite to go over the scope.

Construction.

Work is completed.

Completion.

The insured signs a certificate of completion and completes a customer satisfaction survey.
