Home Elevators
Elevators can service every floor in a house and can include a stop at the ground level outside the home, allowing the client to enter the house through the elevator. The most difficult thing about installing an elevator is placement as the elevator has to “fit” on every floor. If there is no suitable place inside the house, an external shaft can be built against the outside wall. Another less expensive option is to install a telecab. It is similar to an elevator but it does not require a shaft to be built. However, a telecab can only operate between two floors and cannot serve the outside of the home.
